Blame the team at My Envy Box for spoiling us silly with the amazingly curated deluxe and full sized products the past few months. This is why probably many of us may be a tad bit disappointed with the contents of the box this month.
Here’s what I got this month:
- Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution
Sample Size: 10ml *3 vials
Sample Value: Approx Rs. 180
A pioneer since the 1970s, BIODERMA has acquired unique expertise by placing biology at the service of dermatology. This particular product is especially for sensitive skin, perfect for eye and skin makeup removal.
2. Wella System Professional Luxe oil Reconstructive Elixir
Sample Size: 2 ml*2
Sample Value: Approx. Rs. 110
While Wella products are always something to look forward to, I wasn’t particularly happy with this sample. 2 ml may just about be sufficient for one application if you have short hair. Not enough for you to take a call about the product. The Elixir is enriched with argan, jojoba and almond oils.
3. Roberto Cavalli Paradiso EDP
Sample Size: 1.2 ml
Sample Price: Rs. 160 approx
While the perfume smells heavenly: it has woody, floral notes which make it a wee bit sophisticated yet sensual, the quantity may not even be enough for one wear. Would have preferred a slightly bigger/deluxe sized sample, but I also understand how expensive that is. A small 50 ml bottle of the perfume costs about 7K!
4. Dermaglow Ageless Primer
Sample Size: 15 ml (full size)
Sample Price: Rs. 2400
I have always been a proponent of primers. This is one product you just can’t miss. However, I would much rather prefer the Primer from Benefit Cosmetics than any other in the market. I’ve never used the Dermaglow one but now that I have it, I am looking forward to using it. A quick internet search says the product is quite good.
5. Bracelet by Shopnimai (photograph above)
I have just one word to describe this product: cute. I don’t think I’ll ever end up using it but it looks lovely on my one year old. Also, I kind of feel that it may not fit girls with even a slighly bigger wrist. I could be wrong.
So, this months box adds upto about Rs. 2800 of products + one bracelet with one full sized sample and one deluxe sized. Apart from the Dermaglow primer I do not think any other product makes sense, especially if you would like to place an order now and are not subscribing to it. Also, not all boxes have the Dermaglow sample.
However, if you still feel like buying it, you can buy the box HERE. Use coupon code ‘CLOSETBUDDIES‘ during checkout to get 15% off, which means you have to pay Rs.722 instead of Rs. 850 for a one month subscription!
Stay Gorgeous xx
