Maybe its just me but the idea of a lunch date or some girlie time with my friends makes me giddy with delight. Putting in some effort, making yourself pretty, feeling good about yourself and spending time with your loved ones of course ought to bring a smile on any girl’s face.

Sometimes doing your make up for a smart casual occasion like this can be a little confusing. So lets just get it sorted today. I’m going to be talking about 2 looks that can help you enhance your beautiful self.  Lets begin with Look 1 then!

After your skin care routine, we’ll begin by creating a flawless base.

First up since its daytime, we need some light coverage, so there are a dozen of BB creams or CC creams to choose from. Dot it over the face and blend with your fingertips. Incase you’re using a foundation, use a water-based one to keep your skin hydrated.

Next if some stubborn blemishes or marks are still peeking through from behind the foundation, dot over some cream concealer and hide them away for a flawless base.

Now to the best part- eyes! I always like to play up my eyes. And smoky eyes always do the trick. But since its day time, I like to use colours like antique golds and golden browns to enhance them. I use a cream base on my eyelids and then layer with eye shadow for a long lasting creaseless finish.

Apply a sweep of this beautiful shade on your eyelids and blend well. Line your eyes with a brown eye pencil to make them pop. Don’t forget a quick sweep of mascara.

Use a peachy pink blush with a hint of shimmer in it and apply it on the apples of your cheeks. How pretty does that look when the sunlight hits your face!

Last but not the least apply one of these delicious deep toned lipsticks. Choose from reds, berries, burgundy shades or plumy browns that are perfect for this time of the year and you are ready to turn a few heads, if you get my drift!
