With 15 women lifting the Oscars trophy this season, it was sure shot a female dominated award ceremony.

The biggest award show on earth just happened and the best talent was awarded with the highest honour of the industry.

The stars were dressed to nines and made grand entrances on the red carpet. Pink was definitely the colour of the evening as most of the lovely women chose the spring shade for the award function.

Nominated for her role in “Star is born”, the actress made yet another successful red carpet appearance in black Alexander McQueen gown, black gloves and Tiffany yellow diamonds. The diamond she wore is valued at $30m and was last flaunted by Audrey Hepburn in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”.

The “Pose” star, Billy is still the talk of the town with his appearance on the Oscars red carpet. In an effort to break the barrier between the masculine and feminine defined couture, Billy chose a tuxedo ball gown designed by Christian Siriano.

Kacey Musgraves, appeared at the red carpet looking fresh and lively in a powder pink tulle gown by Giambattista Valli. The Jimmy Choo “Cloud” clutch was the icing on the cake.

The British origin actress chose a floor sweeping hot pink gown by Valentino. Chan who would be seen the next Marvel movie “Captain America” walked in Jimmy Choo shoes. The cute “LOVE” pin added a sweet and short detail to her updo.

Jennifer Lopez has never ever been nominated for Oscar, however the actor, singer, producer is almost everywhere now. She would return as judge on 3rd season of “World of Dance”, she performed the “Motown Tribute at Grammy awards this year and she also presented the Oscars this year.

J.LO clearly owned the evening in a mirrored dress designed by Tom Ford.

The style goddess Sarah Paulson has carried several flamboyantly good looks this year and Oscars was no different. She was seen in a puffy fuchsia pink gown by Brandon Maxwell. The gown had diamond detailing on neckline and also featured the cut out at the waist. Minimal makeup and a simple hairdo was all that was required to complement the Cinderella dress.
