So, my last article led to a bit of debate on why I am propagating e-books and not physical books like every other pseudo-activist around me. I have nothing against actual books. In fact, I grew up smelling, feeling and loving them. That’s how my romance with books started. I have over 25 years of history with paper books before I gave in to technology. My reasons for turning to e-books are purely practical- they are so much more affordable (more so when you’ve pledged to read 50 books this year), easier to carry and save space especially when I am travelling and most important- I can read them in bed with the husband right next to me without disturbing his sleep.
Iy is turning into quite the reader and I see her romancing the books like me. I can only wish she take her time experiencing and having fun with real books before practicality dawns on her and she eventually gives it up for convenience like me.
If you’re a complete Bollywood fashion fanatic in addition to being a movie buff like me – I have some awesome news for you. The amazing people at Bollywoo.ooo, India’s 1st official Bollywood wardrobe partners bring to you fashion straight from your favourite stars and movies. They have exclusive tie ups with Production Houses namely YRF, Viacom 18, Excel, Foxstar, Dharma, Disney & Excel to make everything that you see on the silver screen available for purchase in terms of Apparels, Accessories & Locations. The handpicked collection of outfits on their site are not cheap copies, they’ve been actually copyrighted by the makers!
The brand also brings a novel shopping experience that allows consumers to shop through the actual motion picture- quite literally “Stop The Screen” to “Shop The Screen.”
Last week I wore this pretty dress courtesy Bollywoo. If you recall the outfit was worn by Sonam Kapoor in “dheere dheere se meri zindagi mein aana” while romancing Hrithik Roshan. I love the pastel colors of the outfit and the crop top fit like a dream!
Oh BTW my heels are a bright tangerine and the sunnies red!
While you check out the collection on Bollywoo let me go find the “Roshan” of my life aka K to prance around <wink> <wink>.
