If you follow me on Instagram you probably know how much I ate through my recent Europe trip! Greek Salad in Athens, Souvlaki in Mykonos, Greek Pizza in Santorini, Sacher torte and other calorie drenched (hence lip smacking good) desserts in Vienna. And ofcourse the local wines in Prague and Greece. Since I was eating without counting calories (I don’t generally do that but I was in frigging Europe- no one diets on vacation!) I knew I would have to work very hard towards all the weight I was putting on.
Back at home, I said a silent prayer and stood on the weighing scale to gauge the damage. I had actually lost weight on my trip! It was probably all the walking (we were walking a minimum of 15 kms every day) and nursing little Iy. I am glad I ate to my heart’s content without worrying about the consequences. Infact, if I have one advise for your holiday it is this- eat and drink as much you can! You can deal with the weight later.
The other day I had to visit an exhibition and this is how I dressed. Funny how even a little weight loss suddenly spikes your confidence level. Check out the pics.
Psst: I wore a crop top here a few weeks ago.
The outfit makes the most of 3 trends this season: florals, denim and crop top.
A special thanks to All Good Scents for sending across a bottle of “Flirty” . I generall prefer EDPs to EDTs but “Flirty from All Good Scents has been keeping me company whether I am stepping out for coffee, groceries or date night. Check out their complete collection here. All Good Scents is India’s first contemporary perfume house.. The fragrances are created and made in France. You can visit them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
