The 76th annual Golden Globe Awards just happened, officially marking the beginning of the 2019 awards season. The evening was studded with some of Hollywood’s finest and brightest stars dressed to nines. So here are some of the best red carpet looks from the event.


Lady Gaga

So as expected, Lady Gaga appeared on the red carpet wearing a voluminous, dramatic gown. She chose a powdered blue gown by Valentino. Something which totally complemented the gown was her hair dyed the same shade of blue. To finish the look she wore Tiffany & Co. jewels and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.


Emily Blunt

The leading lady of “Mary Poppins Returns” flaunted her doting husband John Kransinski’s unwavering support and silver embroidered gown by Alexander McQueen with a high neckline, dripping hem and sheer panels.


Camilla Belle

The 32-year-old actress sparkled under the spotlight in a peacock blue mermaid gown.  She paired it with a matching clutch by Tyler Ellis and shoes by Stuart Weitzman.

Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway chose an Elie Saab animal print gown. The metallic bodice with a ferocious skirt looked more than perfect for the occasion. She carried a Jimmy Choo box clutch with it and wore Olgana Paris heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.

Penelope Cruz


Penelope Cruz was seen in a celestial theme halter neck black gown with glittering accents throughout. She looked like a dream in the Ralph & Russo number.

Julia Roberts

The Homecoming actress picked a Stella McCartney tailored pants with a beige tulle top. She completed her look with Chopard jewellery.

Nicole Kidman

The Australian actor has been quite consistent with her designer gowns and has always made it to the best-dressed list and this time was no different. The actress sported a sequined body-hugging Michael Kors gown. She carried a disco ball like a clutch and wore strappy heels to go with it.


Emma Stone

Heidi Klum


The “Americas’ Got Talent” judge looked vibrant in a floral ball gown by Monique Lhuillier.
