The first thing that comes to mind when we hear the words spring/summer collection is images of bright floral clothes. Spring has always meant those bright and vibrant colors that are also easy & soothing to the eye. Its these colors that make my surroundings absolutely vibrant!!

So after many hours of research and days spent talking to countless designers, I have prepared my little black book, of trends for SS’15.

CB brings to you the trends to look forward in spring and summer this year.

  1. Colors

Pantone as always has been my savior, putting together a color pallet guide! Breaking the ground rules of basic spring summer collection, pastel colors and nature-inspired neutral shades along with vibrant hues will dominate this season. And did I mention? Its an amazing combination of new colors which I want in my closet right away!! *starry eyes*

  1. Prints

A mix of prints will rule SS collection this year. Floral never goes out of fashion and flower inspired designs never fail to impress. But this season, geometric as well as digital and tribal prints are in trend again!

  1. Fabric

Spring/summer is all about light and soft fabrics that feel good on your skin. Apart from silk which will be ruling the traditional fabrics chart this season, a lot of designers have used multiple layers of sheer just like last year, in their SS’15 collection.

4. Accessories

As for accessories, its all about minimalism this season. SS’14 was dominated by nose rings. This year its the waist belts that will rule along with quirky head gears apart from  a pair of sunglasses and a handbag (the classics, right?)

5. Crop Tops

Crop tops steal the show yet again. They have been in trend since SS’13 and are here to stay. Thank god I wont have to spend more, since I already have a collection of crop tops from last season.

Until then,

Stay gorgeous all my beautiful ladies.
