I hate to be a conformist! Oops!! wrong word to use on the day of love! Well, I don’t like following rules for the most part, especially when they pertain to fashion and this V-Day was going to be no different. Since, I had already declared the “Shun the Red” campaign I decided to go with the anti-thesis and opted for this steel gray Quirk Box dress in silk. It does have some interesting coloring in patches and that’s what drew me to it in the first place.

I would normally pair it with a long metallic necklace to break the monotone but today I wanted to go with this dainty Swarovski pendant my husband gifted to me on Valentine’s Day seven years ago! I know awww!! (But I did say I am a die-hard romantic, didn’t I?)

I also decided to stack bangles street style just for fun! And, for a touch of sobriety I carried this hard metal silver minaudiere (you know to counter the street style bangles) and to put the “sexy” in the ensemble I wore these sky high stilettos in hot magenta! (they bring out the psychedelic birdy colors in the dress so well!).

I went with smokey eyes and nude lips to seal the deal! (and yeah I wore D&G Desire for that intense fragrance). Not all experiments turn out well. While I am not sure how you like my styling for V-Day-my date totally loved it! 🙂
