And the much awaited film festival of the year just concluded and we just can’t resist from flipping through the images of the red carpet events again and again. Our Bollywood divas yet again bedazzled the event with their ravishing appearances and experimental looks.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for day-1 at the festival

For the day 1 of the event Aish chose a golden gown designed by Kuwait’s fashion designer Ali. She looked breathtakingly beautiful as she walked down the red carpet and definitely caught everyone’s attention with her glamorous outfit and smoky blue eye makeup.

Letting her tresses run loose, and minimal makeup she justified her position amongst the most beautiful women across the world.

Day- 2

After a stunning red carpet entry in a sparkling garb the previous day, Aish caught the attention of the shutter bugs even on day-2. Aishwarya has been a part of the event for the last 15 years and this year she’s taken her movie “Sarbjit” to the event. She looked angelic in an Elie Saab number  

Day-3

This was the boldest move that the actress made at the event in the last 15 years. Aish carried the most controversial look of the year at the Cannes’ red carpet. She chose a beautiful floral gown by Rami Kadi but this is not what stole the show. It was her daring purple lip shade which made her the most talked about celeb on Twitter recently.

The confraternity is divided on the subject whether the purple lip colour worked well on the actress or not. But the ex-Miss World definitely gave a shut up call to her critics who had been of the opinion that she plays very safe with her Cannes appearances.

To compliment her ensemble, she tied her hair in high ponytail. Even though her bold look has taken Twitter by storm, I’m totally in love with it.

Sonam Kapoor

In her very first appearance at the Cannes red carpet, the style diva chose a white elaborate sari inspired gown by Ralph & Russo. The caped dress was embroidered and made her look quite dramatic.

Later in the day she switched to an electric blue and black sari by Rimzim Dadu for her media interaction. She sported Suhani Pittie danglers and a neat bun yet again.

She couldn’t have looked classier.

Sonam’s Day-2 at Cannes

After stunning the audience with her looks on day 1, the Kapoor daughter picked up a chic linear pattern dress by Ralph & Russo to head spear her Day-2.

She paired it with Christian Louboutin shoes and cat eye glares. She wore a bright lip-colour to give it that oomph touch. (I so wanna snatch that dress!!L)

For her 2^nd day red carpet appearance she chose another column gown and a feathery cape by Ralph & Russo. Her hairdo was simple and neat and she also kept her makeup minimal to pink blush, pink lip colour and matching eyeshadow.

I always admire her choice for jewels and yet again she has left me spellbound. She chose a floral statement neckpiece and studs to compliment the beautiful couture.

Sonam in a sari inspired gown. She donned Chopard jewels and Ferragamo shoes with it. She looked elegant in pink lips, soft loose tresses and dewy makeup.

Freida Pinto

Freida Pinto is known for her eccentric choices in terms of her couture and this was proved quite yet again at the official dinner of the Cannes Film Festival.

The actress chose a white couture dress by Elie Saab and finished her look with a belt, earrings and orange lips.

Same day, she also attended the press conference for “We Do It Together” and the cocktail reception in a summery outfit by Prabal Gurung. She donned Amrapali jewels with the outfit.

Mallika Sherawat

Mallika Sherawat was seen dressed to nines in a lovely silver gown by Georges Hobeika for the “The BFG” screening at Cannes.

She teamed up the gown with jewels by De Grisogono. She looked just like a princess in the ensemble.

Mallika is attending the festival for her movie “Time Raiders” which has been chosen for the festival. She stunned everyone with her appearance at the opening ceremony.

For her 2^nd appearance, the actress chose an off shoulder gown by Georges Hobeika and paired it with diamond statement neckpiece. The gown was studded with golden embellishments and a blue trail. She looked marvellously gorgeous in both her appearances.

So this time also our pretty ladies  made us proud.
